“Not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.”
Once again, Paul brings instruction to a church he cares for in Thessalonica. Here, he instructs them not to be shaken or alarmed in their minds. It is common that we get shaken or alarmed in our daily lives by a number of circumstances. Let us remember from this verse how a church under persecution could remain unshaken and unalarmed in the Gospel.
